What's wrong with Modern Bibles? The Cross

There's many things wrong, however, there is one scripture, which means that the following, among others, condemns themselves,

1. NIV (New International Version)
2. NLT (New Living Translations)
3. ESV (English Standard Version)
4. ERV (English Revised Version)
5. NASB (New American Standard Bible)

The above list is not exhaustive, take a look.

What is the Scripture which Modern Bibles condemn themselves with?

The scripture which modern bibles contain, which condemn themself, is 1 Corinthians 1:18,
NIV: "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
NLT: The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction!  But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.
ESV: For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishingm but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
ERV: For the word of the cross is to them that are perishing foolishness; but unto us which are being saved it is the power of God.
NASB: For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

All of the above bibles promote a different Gospel.  They promote that salvation is a process.

The Gospel is that we are saved by recognising ourselves as guilty sinners under the eyes of Holy God, and believing on the only Begotten Son of God, Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, who without sin, sacrificed Himself on the cross, paying a debt He didn't owe because we couldn't, His death, burial and resurrection three days later, we receive His IMPUTED righteousness, and we are sealed forever as children of God.  It is instant, not a process.

What is the correct Bible Verse?

The correct Bible verse, is in the King James Bible,
KJV: For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18
The Bible teaches us that Salvation is entirely by faith.  It is the gift of God, not of works, Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

We are saved by faith and faith alone, instantly.  By believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His sacrifice on the cross for our sins and His bodily resurrection.

The people asked the Lord Himself, how does one get saved? John 6:28, "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?”  The Lord Himself answered them that the work of God is that they believe on Him,  "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

The Lord does not teach that Salvation is a process, that we are 'being saved'.  This is known as Lordship Salvation, where one is only saved by believing AND in continual works.  This is similar to what is known as 'Galatianism', where some people tried to convince the church at Galatia, in the New Testament, that they had to have works, such as circumcision, added to their faith, which the Apostle Paul condemned as false,
"Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.  For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.  Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace." Galatians 5:2-4
Paul is saying, that if we add works to God's plan of Salvation, that we are not trusting Christ, but relying on ourselves, and as such, it is not faith, as one is still trying to justify themself by the law (works).

Salvation is an instant process.  We are not 'being saved' which is a damnable heresy, which the modern Bibles teach, we 'are saved', which the King James Bible correctly states.

What Scripture Condemns these modern Bibles?

Modern bibles, saying that we are 'being saved', that it's a process, are teaching the false doctrine of Galatianism, that it's faith PLUS works, which is no faith at all, but trusting on our human devices and imagined self righteousness.  This is therefore a DIFFERENT Gospel.  Not the Gospel of faith, but the Gospel of works.

Paul goes on to tell the church at Galatia in no uncertain terms, about the false Gospel of faith, mixed with works,
"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8-9
The modern Bibles are teaching ANOTHER Gospel, therefore, they are accursed.

Sadly, many people are being deceived.

We must be wise, and vigilant.

If you use another Bible, please disregard it, because, it teaches another Gospel, and it is therefore, accursed.  Replace it with an Authorized King James Bible.

Modern bibles condemn themselves.
