Wicked Rant by Pastor - Steven Anderson

The Pastor, Steven Anderson says that there are bunches of women getting congratulated for being pregnant outwith wedlock,  he clarifies at 0:57 that it's Christian women he's talking about.

Here is my Response to This

There are no bunches of Christian women that I know of getting pregnant out of wedlock and being congratulated for it. If there are somewhere, where are they? Yet again this man creates division in the brethren, accusing like Satan where it doesn't exist. But - if there is a Christian woman who gets pregnant out of wedlock and tells me, I would do my best to support her. It's people, responses like this one in the video which doesn't deal with the reality of the situation, causing the woman to consider abortion instead of going through with the pregnancy, which is twice the number of sins.

You've forgot the more important parts of the law, which is mercy. BTW - Make no mistake, abortions happened a lot in previous generations, they were just kept quiet. I'd rather the child was born instead of kidding on the milk didn't spill. That's love, and some wisdom, because charity covers a multitude of sins.

Is Getting Pregnant Out of Wedlock Right?

No, it's not, but if it's happened, we can't just berate a person for it.  We have to then support them.  The best we can do is preach against it before it happens, not berate the woman because she's sinned, as if we've never sinned.  At that stage it's like the air raid has happened, we just have to take care of our wounded and rebuild with what we have.

I'd rather a child was born, than a woman decided to hide the sin that's happened - and we've all sinned, by committing two sins, that of having sex outwith marriage, and then that of the murder of abortion.

I am all for strong preaching, but preaching has to be done with wisdom.  The big problem here, is not just that he's creating division in the flock where there's none, that he lacks charity, that he's abusive with his tongue, and these are serious problems, but, that he preaches
another Gospel, which says that only certain people can get saved (for instance, homosexuals can't get saved), which is a different Gospel.  Jesus died for all, not for some.  And not for the self-righteous, but those who repent.  Who can truly repent when they take the attitude of a Pharisee, when they are thankful they haven't committed sins like the publican did in Luke?  Truly, the publican came to God as a guilty sinner, acknowledging his worthlessness and his need of forgiveness.  What did Jesus say about the publican?  “I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” Luke 18:14

Here are some scriptures which come to mind,

These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: ... A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren Proverbs 6:16,19

Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”  Galatians 1:8

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,” 2 Tim. 2:24

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.” Mat. 23:23
