Will A Robot Take Your Job?

I found an interesting article on the bbc website,

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-34066941

Which predicts the likelihood of a persons particular employment becoming redundant in the face of advancing technology within the next two decades.

Of the 365 occupations listed, half, 183, come with a 50% or greater chance of becoming automated.

Driving jobs

A former staple, something that people could turn to in difficult times, or for second incomes, is driving jobs.

From the aritcle on the BBC website here.

Driverless cars on UK roads by 2021 - really?
"These measures will help realise the Chancellor's vision that fully self-driving cars will be on UK roads in as little as three years."
Surely that's a stretch, I thought, if by fully self-driving they mean cars with nobody behind the wheel to take over? Wouldn't that mean radical changes to the rules of the road which currently insist that an alert and sober human has to be in charge of a vehicle at all times?
I put this to the Treasury and an email came winging back with this line in block capitals:

YES - THIS WOULD MEAN FULL SELF-DRIVING CARS WITH NOBODY BEHIND THE WHEEL."

Driverless cars already being tested in London, source.

'A self-driving car has had its first trials on London roads.

Guided by five radars, four lasers and 12 cameras, a converted electric Nissan Leaf has been following a mapped route around Beckton, in east London.

It is aware of pedestrians and knows when to stop at red lights - with an attentive human behind the wheel in case of emergency.

The software is still learning but Nissan hopes the cars could be available by 2020.'

Employment?

When jobs in driving, which includes taxis, bus driving, heavy goods vehicles, small deliveries disappear, what will people do?  It's not just driving jobs.  Countless jobs, such as finance, legal, banking, factory, warehouse, trades are all under threat.

Automation can replace manual work, and complex algorithms replace mental work.

With the decline in society of morals, where subjects like veganism gain popularity, because people no longer see themselves as special in the eyes of God, that we're made a little higher than the animals, but see themselves as equal to animals, without a soul, even equal to trees, source.

YouTube video:

Where people are openly crying over the 'death of a tree'.  What possesses such people?

Interestingly, on the list of 'occupations' with the least chance of automation, clergy rates with a highly unlikely chance, only 2%:

No one can predict the future, but what does the Bible say?

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” 1 Timothy 4:1
New age, spiritualism, is growing.  People are turning to meditation, nature worship, other gods such as Buddhism and Yoga.  In hospitals, religion isn't allowed to be discussed with patients, however, doctors and nurses are allowed to prescribe Yoga, which IS a religious activity, designed to activate 'chakras' and such.

And what of the growing calls for vegetarianism, veganism?
From BBC article here:

Veganism has been described as the fastest growing lifestyle movement. For some concern about animal welfare leads them to actively campaign against all forms of the meat industry. But are some of those activists taking it too far?
"When you're being called murderers and rapists, that is overstepping the mark, for fairly obvious reasons," says Alison Waugh, a trainee farmer in Northumberland.

She has received death threats due to her work and told the Victoria Derbyshire programme other farmers are feeling threatened.'
Folks, farmers are being sent death threats, and being called murderers, human life is being put on a par with animal life, veganism is the fastest growing lifestyle movement.

What does the Bible say?
'Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:' 1 Timothy 4:2-4
Folks, marriage is fast becoming regarded as 'old fashioned', abstaining from meets (vegetarianism/veganism) is becoming ever more popular.  Farmers are being targetted - commanded - to abstain from meets.  People accuse you of being a murderer for eating meet, for keeping farm animals, as if such behavior is acceptable, as if it's as telling someone that they shouldn't smoke being regarded as acceptable.

It seems to me that 'clergy', will really be the growing list of false religions, false Gospels, different versions of Jesus, all sorts of spiritualism, naturism and new age-ism which the world is embracing.

And what of the Christians?

John 16:2, “They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.”
Even now people hate genuine Christianity, and think they are doing God a service by doing so!  Christians are called wrong because they see homosexuality as a sin, believe in marriage, say that people are accountable for their sin under the eyes of God.  You name it - people will and do find a reason to hate Christians for it!  The only way to be saved is to accept your guilt as a sinner (accept yourself as flawed, sinful) and accept Jesus's sacrifice on the cross as your Savior.

The future

The Bible shows that we are in the end times.  No one knows when the Lord will return, but, the signs are that life is just going to get more decadent, and harsher and harder to live in.  The dignity of employment will decrease, people see it as right and their right to fulfill their own lusts.  Seducing spirits of science, veganism, new age come to the fore.  People are increasingly loving themself,

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” 2 Timothy 3:2

It's true, narcissism is on the rise (source - college students score 70% higher on anonymous narcissism and lower on empathy questionnaires than 30 years ago), people blaspheme the Lord on a daily basis (even although they are apparently not religious, or do not even apparently believe.)

As much as we don't know when the Lord will come, the world IS getting wickeder, people are giving heed to seducing spirits, their own lusts, and people look down increasingly on genuine Christianity, thinking they are doing God a service (John 16:2), things really ARE bad, and ARE getting worse.  The world is increasingly becoming a place not fit for people to live in.

'He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.' Revelation 22:20
Even so, come, Lord!
